Carterwill Search, a TempExperts company, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2–3 years of experience to join a well established firm in their Tampa office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of litigation matters, including commercial and construction disputes, while gaining valuable mentorship and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Assist with the strategy and management of complex litigation cases.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the legal process.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on significant cases while independently managing routine matters.
- Conduct detailed legal research and prepare well-written legal documents.
Requirements/Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- 2–3 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to commercial or construction litigation.
- Trial preparation or courtroom experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and draft clear, persuasive documents.
